We would be delighted to present at your next conference.
Our presentations draw on the best local and international research on leadership, our own experience of leadership across the corporate, government and for-purpose sectors, and decades of experience in facilitation, coaching, psychotherapy and consultancy.
In all of our work we create opportunities for deep learning, supporting participants to connect with their own (and their team’s) purpose, deeply understand the complex problem they are trying to solve or the opportunity they are trying to grasp, and identify which elements require an adaptive response.
We can work with you to co-design the content and process of our session to best meet the needs of your audience. For instance, we recommend linking a key note presentation with an experiential workshop for delegates.
Keynote Speaker Topics
Topics we are regularly asked to present on include:
Adapting your leadership to tackle adaptive or complex problems
Adaptive or complex problems challenge us to go beyond traditional ways of working and traditional ways of leading. The Adaptive Leadership framework, which originated at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, provides a unique approach to deeply understanding the nature of the system in which you are exercising leadership (including the competing commitments held by individuals and groups within that system) and the nature of the problem you are seeking to address. It also provides new ways of understanding what it means to exercise leadership, and the skills, behaviours and mindsets of adaptive leaders.
This presentation covers the core concepts of the Adaptive Leadership framework, and will provide audience members with an opportunity to identify the key adaptive challenges they are facing, and the implications those challenges have for their own ways of exercising leadership.
The Myths of Collaboration. We are often drawn to collaborate. It sounds simple doesn’t it? But what are the myths of collaboration? What does it really involve and what might you have to do differently in order to truly collaborate?
Conflict is great. Learn how to make the most of it.
Do you have a fight or flight response to conflict? Learn the early signs of conflict, how conflict can be a sign of emerging growth and consider ways to work effectively with conflict.
